Happy Rainy Saturday!
Jane Ritchie has been in her princess dress since she went to bed last night! We made a cake today and her Daddy bought her a pink tool bag with her very own tools. One of her favorite things is to go in the garage with Daddy and play with tools. Trying to make the most of a rainy Saturday. About to go play in some puddles. As you can see, Jim Beau is taking it all in stride!

Picasso
Jane Ritchie is into painting these days. In fact, she loves it so much that she likes to kiss her paints and today I caught her drinking the paint water. Yes, her tongue was blue. Not only does she like to paint, but she likes to paint as a princess.
Look A Like
There is great debate as to who our children look like. It is something we talk about alot for some reason. Does everyone do this? I'm not sure. Anyway, I get glimpses of different people when I look at my children. Sometimes Jane Ritchie looks like my grandmother Abbie, or maybe it is her personality. She definitely looked like Paul when she was a baby. Sometimes Jim Beau looks like my brother, Sam, but in these two pictures I think he looks like the Senator! What do you think??

I'm Back!
I cannot believe it has been so long since I posted a blog entry. You may think that I had given up! But, I decided I need to get back to it.
So, now we live in Kingsland, GA where Paul is XO on USS Georgia. He was initially on the Blue crew, but has been switched to the Gold crew due to the fact that Jim Beau will have surgery sometime this spring to correct the hole in his heart. Speaking of Jim Beau, you can follow his progress at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jimbeaureinhardt
Jane Ritchie is doing fairly well with her new little brother. She has her meltdowns every once in a while. She goes to Mothers Day Out three days a week. I'm not sure how much she loves it, but Mommy sure does love it!
We were in Gainesville with Jim Beau for almost two months, including Thanksgiving and Christmas, so it is nice to be back here at home. I am starting to figure out where Paul put everything while I was gone and still trying to figure out where I put everything when we moved in! :)
Here are some recent pictures. Thanks for hanging in there with us!
