We went to a fun concert a couple of weeks ago. The Honolulu Symphony Pops conductor, Matt Catingub featured an entire week of concerts under the theme Rhythm of Romance. The last night was a concert with Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Ruben Studdard and Natalie Cole. We were on the fourth row and let me tell you the baby was dancing to the music!
The best part was when the unexpected musical guests, Cecilio & Kapono performed. They have been together 34 years and are fantastic. I especially like the Hawaiian mullet.

Six Month Belly
The Sun
There are definite disadvantages to being the whitest person in Hawaii, including the fact that there is no such thing as a "base tan" for me. Consequently, standing out on the pier for two hours yesterday (without sunscreen) to watch Paul's boat come in was not a good idea. In my defense, it normally doesn't take that long for the boat to tie up. Special circumstances of an unassisted landing created the longer wait time.
Anyway, today I look like I wore a v-neck wife beater to Talladega. Nice!!!! Wish I wasn't too embarrassed to post a picture of it.
